Weekly update 02 December 2010

Firstly sorry for the lack of attention to my new blog, life has been a pleasant distraction from work, better known as wedding planning for 2011 and before you ask no its not going to be a Royal wedding !

This last months keyword or phrase has been “old school” as I have returned to my roots with The Insurance Centre, and had a successful time with door to door marketing or in old school – door knocking. Generating some new enquiries, which I hope to convert to sales.

I have been busy as a Guardian Angel working with both existing and new clients across the North West and Lancashire, and have a busy diary running up to Christmas.

Positive Business Development – has been creative in the last four weeks, helping clients create & manage sales & marketing plans that will start to deliver results in 2011.

Weekly Update 07 November 2010

This weeks word is “networking” – remembering to make regular contact with clients, and prospects alike.

TIC – This weeks concentration has been on the retail, shops, office and surgeries insurance needs of Chorley, Lancashire. Bringing in some very interesting leads for new business.

CDA Partnership – have been concentrating on finding good quality writers to exchange articles with so that we can begin to build a guest writer spot on our clients sites.

Positive Business Development – we have been concentrating on strengthening existing relationships and developing new connections across the different business sectors, picking up some interesting work along the way.

GoMyEmails.com – is continuing to send well designed and managed emails for its clients across both continents – America and the UK, and has a new addition to the team with our consultant in the USA.

The buzz word this week is “creative”

Having just taken delivery of my new blackberry, yes I have finally managed to get into the 21st century and understand why email on the move is so important. GoMyEmails.com has been busy this week sending two creative email messages to thousands of recipients on behalf of our clients.

CDA Partnership has been creating and developing an affiliate programme around related articles for our major client in order to see a ROI from their web spend.

I have also been working through old and new contacts generating enquiries and new

Positive Business Development – has been undergoing a data management e xercise and has joined salesforce.com in order to bring some stability to the data collected from new and old clients. By bringing all the client information into one place it brings faster and easier access to contact details and historical information.  Especially as I can access all the information from my new blackberry whilst on the move !

Next week will bring more voluntary work with the NWDA Guardian Angel Scheme, a special sales day in Chorley and time to refocus on my personal and business goals for 2010-11.
